Register for Junior Historian Program @ Piney Point
The Junior Historian Program at the Piney Point Lighthouse Museum invites children ages 7 to 12 to discover local history and the outdoors through hands-on activities. The program runs during the summer for four days per session, with three hours of activities each day.
Dinner Cruise Series Kicks Off in April
The St. Mary’s County Museum Division has announced the schedule for the 2026 Dinner & a Cruise series. The first cruise will be April 26.
Open Houses Begin at Drayden Schoolhouse
The St. Mary’s County Museum Division, in partnership with the Unified Committee for Afro-American Contributions (UCAC), will offer open houses at the Drayden African American Schoolhouse in Drayden on the first and third Saturday of the month from 11am to 2pm.
Stuffed Ham Makes Its Mark on History
St. Mary’s County has been designated as the official birthplace of stuffed ham, and a marker will be erected and dedicated on March 29, 2026, to this honor in Colton’s Point.
