Hoyer: Amtrak Projects Awarded Funds

Green Holly Honored as Distinguished Title I School
Green Holly Elementary has been named a National Distinguished ESEA/Title I school. The Lexington Park school is the only Title I school in the state of Maryland to receive the recognition.
Santa’s Making a Stop @ Aeropark!
Santa Claus will make a stop at the Aeropark at the St. Mary’s Regional Airport main terminal Saturday, December 14, 2024. The Santa Fly-In will be held from 10am to noon. Santa is expected to arrive at 11am.

Update: Santa’s flight is rescheduled to this Thursday, Dec. 12 at the same time! Boys and girls across Southern Maryland should keep their eyes on the skies as Adm. Saint Nicholas conducts pre-deployment mission planning over parts of Southern Maryland from 11am to 1pm December 12.
Hoyer: 227,000 New Jobs, Inflation Falling
With the release of the US Labor Department’s November 2024 jobs report, Congressman Steny H. Hoyer noted that 227,000 jobs were added last month, unemployment was down near its 50-year record low, inflation is falling, and wages are going up.
