GM Pool to Close for Maintenance, Then Reopen Sept. 27
The Great Mills swimming pool will be temporarily closed from September 18-26 for reassembly of the bubble enclosure and completion of bi-annual maintenance. The pool will re-open as an indoor pool September 27, 2025.

Roll On In to a Summer Skate Night
Friday Summer Skate events have returned at Leonard Hall Recreation Center in Leonardtown. Each Friday through August 15, families can roller skate from 1 to 4pm, with a new theme every week.
‘Tarzan: The Stage Musical’ Set for Two Weekends

Easter Egg Festival Tickets Sales Begin
St. Mary’s Department of Recreation & Parks will host its annual Easter Egg Festival at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds on April 12, 2025. Tickets are available to purchase online.
Auditions April 4-5 for Summerstock
St. Mary’s Department of Recreation & Parks will present “Tarzan: The Stage Musical” for Summerstock 2025. Performances will be held at Great Mills High School on July 18-20 and July 25-27, with a total of eight shows. Auditions will be in early April.
Summer Camps Registration Opens March 3
Registration for St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation & Parks summer camps and school age care programs for the 2025-26 school year will open March 3.
