Lex Park Library Program: Healthy Snacks
Healthy St. Mary’s Partnership is offering an event with Shaniqua Cousins for families to learn about whole foods and how to make healthy snacks. The program will be offered at 2pm July 25, 2025, at the Lexington Park Library.
Lunch at the Library Available Until Aug. 15
Lunch at the Library for children will be served in Lexington Park from noon to 1pm Monday through Friday until August 15, 2025.
Update on Schools’ Summer Meal Program
St. Mary’s public schools’ summer meal service begins June 17 and continues until August 12, 2025. The school system will provide breakfast and lunch bulk five-day meal packs for children 18 and younger weekly on Tuesdays at five locations with two pick-up times.

Noon Year’s Eve programs for children will be offered at the St. Mary’s County libraries in Lexington Park, Charlotte Hall, and Leonardtown.
Karlin to Discuss His Latest Novel
Local author Wayne Karlin will present his latest novel, “The Genizah,” and discuss the Holocaust backgrounds of the novel at a talk December 7 at the Lexington Park Library.
