St. Mary’s Square Slated for Sewer Upgrade

The St. Mary’s County Metropolitan Commission (MetCom) will hold a public meeting at 6:30 pm Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, at the Commission’s offices, 23121 Camden Way, California, MD. The meeting will be held to discuss the St. Mary’s Square Wastewater Pumping Station Replacement Project No. 8121SS.
The project includes the replacement of an existing, aging wastewater pumping station with new infrastructure that will increase system life, reliability and capacity. The sites of the existing and proposed sewer pump stations are adjacent to each other and located at the rear of the St. Mary’s Square shopping center.
The plans for the referenced project may be inspected at the time of the meeting or at the office of the MetCom Engineering Department, 23121 Camden Way, California, MD, from 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.
