Scenic Trail Meeting Set May 1 @ Library

The Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail Southern Maryland Gateway community meeting will be held from 9am to 3pm Friday, May 1, at the Lexington Park Library.

The in-person meeting, part of a series of free roundtable meetings this year, explores common ground between heritage tourism and outdoor adventure enthusiasts to build support for desired improvements to the route in Southern Maryland.

Make it a weekend and attend MarylandFest in St. Mary’s City on May 2 and/or join in a group bicycle ride to Point Lookout State Park.
