R&P Summerstock to Feature ‘Frozen’ in 2026

St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation & Parks has announced the 2026 Summerstock production of Disney’s FROZEN: The Broadway Musical. Performances will be held at Great Mills High School on July 17-19 and July 24-26, 2026, with a total of eight shows.

Auditions will be April 17, 2026, from 5 to 9 pm and April 18, from 10am to 2pm at Carver Recreation Center. Young actors and actresses age 13 to 21 are encouraged to audition for roles, with two additional roles for girls age 10 to 12. Go to www.stmaryscountymd.gov/Summerstock for more information.

Online ticket sales begin July 1 and will also be available for purchase on the show dates, if seats remain.

Based on the 2013 Disney film, FROZEN: The Broadway Musical brings magic to the stage, featuring iconic songs by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, including the Academy Award-winning track “Let It Go.” The musical features songs from the original film, plus music written especially for the theatrical version.

FROZEN: The Broadway Musical was originally produced on Broadway by Disney Theatrical Group and originally directed on Broadway by Michael Grandage. Music and lyrics were written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with the book by Jennifer Lee. The production is based on the Disney film written by Jennifer Lee and directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee. The production is licensed by Music Theatre International.
