Maryland 2026 Primary Deadlines
Close of Registration & Party Affiliation deadline for the Maryland 2026 Primary Election is Tuesday June 2, 2026, by 5pm in the election office or by 11:59pm online.

The primary date is June 23. Early voting runs from June 11 to June 18, 2026.

There are seven 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Ballot Drop Box Locations in St. Mary’s County. All drop boxes will be open and operational 24/7 & under video surveillance. Primary ballot box opening date is May 7, 2026. Primary ballot box closing date is June 23, 2026, at 8pm. The seven locations are:
