Lexington Park Ford Leaving Great Mills Rd for 235
Lexington Park Ford gained county approval last month to build a 45,648 square foot car dealership on the east side of Route 235 on 21 lightly wooded acres.
St. Mary’s County requested a small portion of the property be reserved for FDR Boulevard. The dealership plans an employee access from FDR Boulevard.
The company will be moving its operation from Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, MD.
The Great Mills Road property is a long-standing dealership, prior to Lexington Park Ford, Aldridge Ford opened and grew. The dealership was a family owned business for decades, during the years Great Mills Road was the commerce street of Lexington Park.
