Celebrate St. Mary’s Airport Runway Expansion

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 2pm March 24 to celebrate the completion of the runway expansion project and recent upgrades at the St. Mary’s County Regional Airport.

The event will be held in the Captain Walter Francis Duke Terminal at the airport at 44200 Airport Road in California, MD.

The event will mark several achievements, including the expanded runway, an updated terminal interior, and new outdoor enhancements.

Guests are invited to enjoy refreshments from Bird Dog Bistro located inside the terminal, explore the terminal building and view the surrounding AeroPark Innovation District, and take in unique views from the heart of the airport.
