Expect Rt. 235 Delays in Lex Park Aug. 11-14
The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) will temporarily close left turn lanes at three northbound MD 235 (Three Notch Road) intersections next week in Lexington Park: Old Rolling Road / Shady Mile Drive; MacArthur Boulevard / Millstone Landing Road; and Pegg Road / Buse Road.
Stone Pens Book on Black Diamond Disaster
Karen Stone has published “Shipwreck on the Potomac: Disaster in Pursuit of Lincoln’s Killer,” a book about the Black Diamond Disaster, a “forgotten” tragedy that occurred on the Potomac River near St. Clement’s Island during the American Civil War during the hunt for presidential assassin John Wilkes Booth.

Second Saturday Museum Activities
