Navy Football Uniforms Pay Homage to Super Hornet
Naval aviation is the inspiration for this year’s US Naval Academy’s uniforms for the December 11 Army/Navy football game. Navy went with a F/A 18 Super Hornet-themed uniform.

Video shows the F35B dropping off the front of the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth and the pilot ejecting from the Nov. 17, 2021 crash in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. The aircraft achieved neither lift nor thrust.

Navy Opens Pier to Help Shipping Delays
With Southern California seaports overburdened by commercial ships and supply-driven shipping delays, the Navy will open allow cargo-carrying vessels to use a military wharf at Port Hueneme, the only port between San Francisco and Los Angeles able to handle the commercial vessels.
3 Students Earn Just Society Scholarships
The St. Mary’s County Just Society Scholarship was awarded to three high school students for their artistic submissions associated with racial justice as it relates to the lynching of Benjamin Hance in 1887, the only recorded lynching in the county’s history.
