Learning as a Unit

Dr. Michael Marquardt, professor of HR development and international affairs at George Washington University and president of the World Institute for Action Learning, will address all hands Tuesday, Feb. 21 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River Theater.

Individuals with base access are invited to attend.

The subject of Dr. Marquardt’s presentation is organizational learning: strategies, tools and leadership. Dr. Marquardt will discuss the importance of learning as an organization to success in the 21st century, and the strategies, tools and leadership necessary to transition to a learning organization.

Dr. Marquardt has trained more than 100,000 managers in nearly 150 countries and has written 24 books and more than 100 professional articles in the fields of leadership, learning globalization and organizational change.
