March 18 SMIT MeetUp Moves to SMHEC

The March 18 MeetUp of the Southern Maryland Innovation and Technology (SMIT) initiative will be held at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center (SMHEC) instead of the UAS Test Site as originally announced.

This MeetUp will focus on business concept ideation.

Prof. Oliver Schlake of the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and Tom Sanders, Managing Director, CTSI will take about their experiences generating and testing new business ideas. Brainstorming and a group exercise will ensure that this first in SMIT’s venture ideation series is highly interactive for one and all.

The MeetUp will take place in the Multipurpose Room in Building 1 at the SMHEC located on Airport Road in California. The March 18 event will start with socializing at 6 pm. SMIT MeetUps are free and open to the public. To register to attend, click here.
