Artsfest Starts Today, But Annmarie Events Continue This Fall

Artsfest starts at 10 a.m. today at Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center and continues through tomorrow. However, the fall season at Annmarie Garden is just getting started.
The first Maker’s Market of Autumn is on Saturday, Oct. 5, 9 a.m. – noon, at Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center. Grab your coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or water and peruse over 50 booths of handmade or homemade products…a lovely beginning to the weekend. October’s maker’s market will feature farm-grown products, yoga supplies, organic soaps, lotions, aromatherapy, doll house miniatures, quilts, jewelry, and wooden furniture! Admission to Maker’s Market is FREE. Ample, accessible and convenient parking is located in the parking lot and adjacent parking field. Handicap parking is available through the main gate.
Annmarie Garden will host a number of Fall Art Classes for Adults, Kids, and Families including pottery, drawing, painting, basketry, glass, jewelry, and fiber arts! Advance registration is required, call 410-326-4640 or visit www.annmariegarden.org.
Any business or organization looking for a unique marketing opportunity is invited to reserve a booth now at Annmarie Garden’s 13th Annual Halloween in the Garden on Saturday, Oct. 27, 11-4 p.m. The deadline to reserve a booth, to this spooktacular event that attracts 5,000 guests, is Oct. 12. Annmarie Garden will host artLAB Mom’s Club – Monday, Oct. 1, 10 a.m. – noon. Discover your little one’s creative potential. Gently guided sessions that will help your child make great art, fun toys, creative costumes, and new friends. No reservations are required; $7 for parent/child pair.
Annmarie Garden will host Toddler Tuesday – Tuesday, Oct. 2, 10 a.m. – noon. Enjoy the morning creating, discovering, and exploring with your favorite toddler in the artLAB. A perfect play-time opportunity in a fun and toddler-friendly environment. No reservations are required; $7 for parent/child pair.
Annmarie Garden will host Senior Moments – Thursday, Oct. 4, 10 a.m. – noon. Strictly for senior citizens, a gently guided session that will focus on projects (seasonal creations) that will encourage interaction! No reservations are required; $7.00 admission fee.
Annmarie Garden will host Open Studio Days – Friday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. – noon. Join Annmarie Garden in the open artLAB studio and create to your heart’s content. No reservations are required, $7 admission fee.
