Summer Skate Events @ Leonard Hall
Friday Summer Skate events are back at Leonard Hall Recreation Center. The skate season continues through August 14, 2026.
Each Friday, families can enjoy an afternoon of roller skating in the indoor arena from 1 to 4pm, with different themes featured each week.
Admission is $5 per person, and skate rentals are available for an additional $2.50.
Friday Summer Skate themes include:
- June 26 – Flashback Friday: Dress in your favorite retro styles.
- July 3 – Red, White & Blue Day: Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday.
- July 10 – Winter in July: Imagine you’re in a “Frozen” winter wonderland.
- July 17 – Prince & Princess Day: Enjoy a royal and magical skate session.
- July 24 – Mix & Match Day: Dress as goofy as you can.
- July 31 – Superhero Skate: Wear your favorite superhero costume.
- August 7 – Team Spirit Day: Wear apparel from your favorite sports team.
- August 14 – Beat the Heat: End the summer with popsicles and other cool treat.
Leonard Hall Recreation Center in Leonardtown also hosts Family Skate every Sunday from 2 to 5pm, excluding holidays. The weekly event provides the perfect opportunity for skaters of all ages and skill levels to join in the fun.
Like Friday Summer Skate, admission is $5 per person, and skate rentals are available for $2.50. Skaters are also welcome to bring their own roller skates.
