Museum to Offer Art Classes for Kids

Young artists are invited to explore fine arts this summer through St. Clement’s Island Museum’s Art Kids class series. Participants will experiment with different forms of art, including drawing, painting, simple weaving, sculpting, and other hands-on projects.
Students will also reflect on how creating art can positively impact society for future generations.
The program encourages young artists to try new materials, express their creativity, and enjoy the process of making art in a welcoming and supportive environment. At the end of each session, participants will have their own unique piece of artwork to take home and share with family and friends.
Preregistration is required, and the cost is $7 per child (ages 7 to 14 only). All materials are provided; however, participants are asked to bring a light snack.
Parents are encouraged to sign up soon, as slots fill quickly.
Sessions will be offered August 24-27, 2026, and September 14-17, 2026.
