TPP Congratulates VFS Fellow Ajay Sehgal

TPP

The Patuxent Partnership congratulates the 2026 Vertical Flight Society Honorary Fellow Award recipient, Ajay Sehgal.

“A significant and well-deserved award. I still recall your LSM project on STEM, and of course your years of service on the TPP board,” said Bonnie Green, TPP executive director.

Mr. Sehgal is a Senior Technical Fellow Emeritus with KBR.

He wrote the following note to TPP:

“I am honored to have been selected as a 2026 Vertical Flight Society (VFS) Honorary Fellow Award recipient, a distinction that recognizes individuals whose leadership and career‑long contributions have significantly advanced vertical flight and the broader aerospace and defense community. Honorary Fellowships are granted to Society members whose vision, leadership, and meritorious service have strengthened the interests of VFS and the global vertical flight community. This is a highly selective honor, with only two recipients chosen annually.

Having previously served as Vice President of The Patuxent Partnership on behalf of KBR, the organization has played a meaningful role in my professional journey. The collaboration, community engagement, and mission‑focused work during that time significantly contributed to my development, and I remain very appreciative of those experiences.

I felt it was important to share this milestone with you and to express my continued respect and support for The Patuxent Partnership and its ongoing impact across the Pax River and Southern Maryland region.

Thank you for your leadership and for everything you do to support the community. I hope our paths cross again soon.”
