Calling All St. Mary’s 2026 Candidates

LexLeader.NET invites candidates facing primary contests for St. Mary’s County elective offices to submit a post introducing themselves and the reasons propelling their candidacy. This offer is open to all candidates in contested primaries for seats representing St. Mary’s residents.

The Maryland’s primary is June 23, 2026, with early voting open from June 11 through June 18, 2026.

We hope candidates will accept this invitation as our vote of appreciation for putting themselves forward on behalf of our community.

We edit posts to meet format and style guidelines. Otherwise, our only editorial restriction is that courtesy be maintained. We will remove commentary about other candidates.

If your name will appear on the June 23, 2026, Maryland Primary Ballot in a contested race and you wish for us to publish your introductory post, please submit it electronically to [email protected], in a text format. We advise putting your contact information near the top. We do not restrict length but advise 300 words as a good target to maintain readership.

Include a digital photo to accompany your post. The photo should be horizontal with a scale of 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high. We will crop photos to roughly fit this 8:6 scale, if necessary. 800×600 is the smallest photo we can work with.

All posts will appear on our front page. Their LexLeader link will remain live and accessible after the stories rotate off the front page. Candidates are free to use their post’s LexLeader link.
