Library to Host ‘Be a Well Woman’ Session

A women’s reproductive health hour, “Be a Well Woman,” will be held at the Lexington Park Library from 6:30 to 7:30pm February 5.

Topic: Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening & The Importance of Well-Women Exams

Your health is your wealth. Join the session to learn more about:

  • Benefits of regular breast and cervical cancer screenings
  • How well-women exams play a crucial role in early detection and prevention
  • Resources and tips to stay proactive about your health

The event is being sponsored by the St. Mary’s County Health Department’s Cancer Prevention, Education, Screening, and Treatment program and the school-based health centers.

This informative session is open to women of all ages who want to prioritize their well-being. Take steps to prevent and detect health issues early.
