Communities surrounding Naval Air Station Patuxent River and Webster Outlying Field are advised that noise-generating, low-altitude testing events are scheduled to take place June 5 to June 14, 2024, from 11am to 3pm.
WOLF Five-Year Review to Begin
A five-year review of existing Record of Decision documents and ongoing environmental cleanup actions at Webster Outlying Field in St. Inigoes is set to begin, while the sixth five-year review at Naval Air Station Patuxent River is completed.
Grants Awarded for County Conservation Efforts
The Patuxent Tidewater Land Trust received a grant for $852,262 for the Huntersville Rural Legacy Area, and Southern Maryland Resource Conservation and Development received a grant for $493,984 for the Mattapany Rural Legacy Area.
