TPP to Lead MD Junior Science Symposium
The Patuxent Partnership will lead the 2023 Maryland Junior Science and Humanities Symposium for the fifth year. Students throughout Maryland are invited to compete for scholarships and the opportunity to present at the national level.
Survey to Assess Local Labor Force Needs
The Patuxent Partnership has joined the College of Southern Maryland and other tri-county partners to conduct an industry survey. The goal is to assess the local labor force and industry needs.
SoMD 2030 Offering 8-Week Summer Internships
The Patuxent Partnership will hold five virtual information sessions for local college students interested in 2024 summer internships. The deadline to apply is Friday, December 8.
Year in Review Highlights TPP’s Annual Meeting
The “filled to capacity” annual meeting of The Patuxent Partnership opened with greetings from Bonnie Green, TPP executive director, and Doug Belvin, board president, who welcomed the board’s new members. Attendees were provided a year in review of TPP’s successful programs, engagements, and community support.
STE(A)M Fest: Fun Activities Under One Roof
The Patuxent Partnership reminds students that the 2023 Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics STEAM Festival will be held Saturday, October 28, at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown, MD.

St. Mary’s County Public Schools’ annual STE(A)M Festival will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds. The Patuxent Partnership is helping to publicize the event that will be held in-person this year.
CSM President to Speak at TPP Annual Meeting
The Patuxent Partnership invites members and colleagues to its 2023 annual meeting. Executive Director Bonnie Green will provide a year in review of TPP’s programs, engagements, and support in the community. Speaker will be Dr. Yolanda Wilson, president of the College of Southern Maryland.
