WARM — “Wrapping Arms Round Many” — is a winter emergency sheltering program for the homeless in St. Mary’s County, and is in need of volunteers to help with registration and van drivers.
Ward Virts Series Features 6 Concerts

MedStar St. Mary’s Decreases Sepsis Deaths
Sepsis is a potentially deadly condition, but it can be treated. MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown has been working for the past year to increase efforts to recognize sepsis early, treating it quickly to ensure the condition doesn’t cost a patient his or her life.
Gender Roles Explored at CSM
The College of Southern Maryland will host speaker Sean Lare on Oct. 12 in Leonardtown, and Cause Theatre will present “Know Your Role” Oct. 12-14 in La Plata.
