American Crows are very social, inquisitive, and sometimes mischievous. Crows are good learners and problem-solvers, often raiding garbage cans and picking over discarded food containers. They’re also aggressive and often chase away larger birds including hawks, owls, and herons.
Donations Sought for Soup Kitchen
St. Mary’s Caring Soup Kitchen in Lexington Park is seeking donations. Among the items needed are nonperishable goods and fresh fruit for bagged lunches and food boxes for families.

What’s the Hold-up With UAS?
“Unmanned aviation is a pie in need of a Solomonic cutting,” RADM Tim Heely said, introducing a panel of those claiming a legitimate share of the pie including the Federal Aviation Administration, a burgeoning marketplace, and the US military. The UAS technology is ahead of regulation and the market hasn’t yet decided how much unmanned autonomy it wants.
