VEX Robotics Tourney Seeks Volunteer
The College of Southern Maryland will host VEX Robotics Tournaments in January 2024 at the La Plata campus. The Patuxent Partnership, a robotics supporter, is helping to publicize the event. Volunteers are needed.
Calling All Judges for St. Mary’s Science Fair
The Patuxent Partnership has been a supporter of the St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair for many years. TPP urges its members to support the upcoming fair in January 2024 and consider being a judge.

SMR Flight Academy Program Set for 2024-25
St. Mary’s Ryken High School has announced an upcoming Flight Academy program beginning in the 2024-25 school year. The Patuxent Partnership donated 24 flight simulators to the school in May 2022.
SMECO Scholarships to Be Awarded
Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative will award four $2,500 scholarships to local high school students who excel in their endeavors and show promise in their chosen field of study. Students have until April 1, 2024, to apply.
UAS Center Offering Summer Internships
The University of Maryland UAS Research and Operations Center is offering 2024 summer internships. The Patuxent Partnership reminds those interested that the application process has started for this full-time, paid program.
